Čtyři samosvorné matice použité k upevnění airbagu nemusely být správně utaženy. V případě nehody, při níž by byl airbag aktivován, by se mohl oddělit od základní desky. Neposkytl by tudíž ochranný účinek a zvýšil by riziko zranění.
Svolávány jsou modely Mercedes-Benz B-Class vyrobené od května 2018 do září 2019.
