Funkce airbagu spolujezdce může být narušena extrémními teplotami v interiéru vozidla (nad 85°C). V důsledku toho může dojít ke zpožděné aktivaci airbagu spolujezdce a/nebo se nemusí úplně rozvinout. Zvyšuje se tím riziko zranění v případě nehody.
