Vadný kondenzátor může způsobit kolísání napětí v napájecím zdroji řídicí jednotky airbagu. V důsledku toho se mohou neočekávaně aktivovat airbagy a předpínače bezpečnostních pásů, nebo se v případě nehody nemusí aktivovat vůbec. To zvyšuje riziko zranění cestujících.
Svolávány jsou modely Porsche Boxster vyrobené v období 23. 6. 2015 – 16. 6. 2016.
