V případě kolize s aktivací čelního airbagu řidiče, by se mohl abnormálně zvýšit vnitřní tlak sestavy nafukovacího zařízení a jeho tělo by mohlo prasknout. Kovové úlomky by mohly zasáhnout cestující a způsobit jim zranění.
