Vadné pájení může způsobit oddělení tranzistoru od desky s obvody měniče DC-DC. Pomocný akumulátor nemusí přijímat energii z měniče DC-DC. Pokud se vybije pod určitou úroveň, může se hybridní systém vypnout. Ztráta hnací síly během jízdy by mohla zvýšit riziko nehody.
